Barack Obama in Prague

Barack Obama in Prague

US President Barack Obama finished his only open-air speech in the course of his European visit at the Hradcany Square in Prague. In his speech he particularly appreciated the historical fight of the Czechs for freedom and democracy and called for global peace and nuclear disarmament. I was almost surprised how much the US President highlighted the Czech experience in his speech, stated Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek who, accompanied by Czech President Vaclav Klaus, met with Barack Obama earlier today. After the speech Barack Obama continued to the Prague Congress Centre, where President of the EU Council Mirek Topolanek is presently welcoming the highest representatives of EU Member States who arrived to Prague to attend the EU-USA summit.
